STATION 1: CAN YOU DESCRIBE ME?
You will need: Character boxes , scissors, glue stick, pencil, colored pencils
Print character boxes....Cut labels apart
Place each label in the correct box on the right.
When you are sure that your labels are in the right boxes, paste them in.
Now, write 1 more description of your own for each character
In the box on the left, draw a colored picture of each character
STATION 2: LETTER TO MR. WHITE
You will need: notebook paper, pencil, envelope, stamp sticker, rubber stamp
- Read about Mr. White
- Read Mr. White's letter
- You will write a friendly return letter to Mr. White using all 5 parts of a good letter...follow his example.
To earn an A, your letter:

1) Prewriting: Organize your thoughts for writing by making notes on your paper.
2) Use your prewriting thoughts to complete a rough draft.
3) Choose 1 student to peer edit your letter.
3) After you have edited your rough draft, type your final copy.
4) Print your letter, fold in thirds, and place in envelope.
5) Address your envelope, stamp it, cancel with rubber stamp, and place in mailbox

STATION 3: COMIC CREATOR and BOOKMARK
You will need: colored pencils, Charlotte's Web book, bookmark
Go to Comic Creator
1. What is the name of your cartoon? (your own title)
2. Add a subtitle. A Story of Friendship
3. Who is the author? E.B. White and (your name)
Choose 6 panels
- PANELS 1-4: Choose 4 different events from the story and write a short caption about each event. They MUST be in event order. You may choose a different background for each if you want.
- PANELS 5-6: Predict what will happen next. Choose 2 captions and backgrounds.
- Print your comic strip. With colored pencils, illustrate your captions. Add as many picture details as you can.
Print bookmark .
Color front side. On back side write spelling words.

You will need: paper plate, yarn, scissors, glue stick, Spider's Anatomy worksheet, Spider Find it! quiz
